This Is Our Story

Let's get to know each other on a personal level. I feel like knowing you can really help me make your travel dreams a reality. I have always wanted to travel and learn about other places along with their history and culture. After my husband Chuck and I went through infertility issues, we decided to give up on having a second baby and try traveling instead. Then, BOOOM! Here comes COVID-19, a month after I booked our first big family trip to Disney World and a cruise to the Bahamas. Everything was postponed, canceled, and rescheduled as I am sure you are all aware. Then, needless to say, life had other plans for us as we got pregnant again and stayed pregnant this time! So, I rescheduled our rescheduled vacation, dropped the cruise, and we went to Disney World in my second trimester hoping all would be okay.

Fast-forward to today. While I enjoyed the trip with my family, I couldn't help but feel a bit cheated by the planning process. I had a Disney planner assist with my booking, but didn't realize what they did and did not offer. I felt like the planner didn't really help me that much if I'm being totally transparent. Then I decided to look into Disney planning myself. The more I dug, the more I discovered travel planning might just be the best thing I could do. I could plan our family trips AND live vicariously through others by helping them plan their trips, too! I found an agency that helped me get trained on Disney trips, cruises, resorts, and more and now I'm finally ready to help you! The name Ashley's Travel Tribe comes from a couple of things-one being that I enjoy feeling like I have an extended family or "tribe", if you will. The other, being that I live in the Fort Osage area and everything around our community is about being a tribe to help each other.
